“The term “Oxford” refers to the fabric and not to the shirt, in fact this was developed during the nineteenth century in Scotland as part of a series of four fabrics aimed at celebrating the best universities in the world. The particularity of this fabric lies in its lightness and breathability, thanks to the basket structure between thinner threads for the warp and a thicker one for the weft. Oversized oxford shirt with mandarin collar, dropped shoulder and plastron that ends with a horizontal fabric insert. The bottom has a special rounded shape with the fly on the side in selvedge of the same fabric.
