Work-inspired denim shirt jacket
Made and designed in Italy
Shirt jacket derived from the world of workwear, the traditional work jacket was designed in the late 19th century in France, to meet the needs of workers and laborers. Our summer version is in a 6.5 OZ cotton denim canvas, bleach washing, micro abrasions and targeted tears make it even more refined. Dropped shoulder, straight fit, two large pockets on the bottom and a small one on the heart, closure with a “monkey fist knot” in the same material as the garment, reminiscent of oriental jackets, combining our worlds of inspiration. This knot was first used by sailors to throw a tow line to another vessel or to the shore. The knot is the size of a “fist” when tied. Sailors coined the name “monkey fist” because of its shape. Garment with a relaxed attitude, with a length of mid-hip.
