The inspiration for the fabric&#8217;s construction comes from early 20th-century sweatshirts, made with special Japanese looms that created a soft, diagonally woven fabric with a soft, open loop (the twisted thread visible from the reverse). The knitting process requires long production times, making this type of fabric rare and unique. Crewneck sweatshirt with a ribbed collar and ribbed gusset, and a high cuff that can be turned up.
