The blue and white striped t-shirts automatically recall the world of the navy. In particular, the Breton shirt, also known as “marinière”, worn by the French Navy is remembered in the history of clothing: the striped t-shirt made it easier to recognize sailors who fell into the water. After years, it was worn by icons such as Brigitte Bardot and Coco Chanel. Our striped t-shirt is in a jersey that recalls the vintage originals. Ribbed boat neckline, sleeves at the wrist, hem with high hem and vents finished with ecru herringbone ribbon. The fit is a bit oversized and the stripe’s height 5cm / 5cm. For this t-shirt we have selected a wash that gives a soft hand-feel and vintage look.
