Our blouse is crafted from 5.5 oz indigo cotton chambray and draws inspiration from archival naval garments.
Historically, sailors wore the “camisaccio,” a long-sleeve smock, typically in blue or white, defined by a V-neck opening and an essential construction designed for practicality and ease of use.
The summer version featured a boxy silhouette, with a slightly wider hem and straight cuffs, allowing it to be worn and removed with ease.
This version reinterprets the iconic piece in a more contemporary and feminine way, introducing a flat shirt collar and a V opening down to mid-bust for a more fluid and natural fit.
The mid-light wash enhances the chambray, giving the garment an authentic, worn-in look.
