For our pleated chino, we drew inspiration from the trousers of the French Foreign Legion: clean lines and a double front pleat that adds volume and comfort. A piece made iconic by the balance between semi-tailored construction and heritage character.
We reinterpreted this classic using Japanese selvedge twill. Selvedge fabrics are woven on traditional looms, with a slower process and higher material consumption, factors that enhance their value and quality. The compact yet lightweight construction, achieved through finer high-density yarns, gives the fabric a refined and durable hand. The silhouette is defined by a double front pleat and a wide leg, offering a relaxed yet controlled fit.
