Cotton and linen chino trousers, very cool and light. The origins of this model are very far from the world of fashion: we are talking about the military world, and more precisely the English colonies of the late 1800s. During the battles, the white uniforms of the English army were clearly visible in the Punjab. Commander Harry Lumsden decided to make them “camouflage” with a bath of coffee, mulberry and curry mixtures, resulting in the classic shade, between sand and ochre. However, it was at the beginning of the twentieth century that men’s trousers in colored cotton, the so-called “chino” trousers, began to spread thanks to an equally legendary international trade route that, through China, reached the United States army, and spread throughout the world what, since the 1980s, has become a classic item of the male wardrobe. It was the Americans who called them “chino”, due to their Chinese origin. Here made in a cotton/linen canvas, with an irregular wash of the fabric flame that emphasizes and gives a heritage look. Front American pockets with coin back pocket, front loops, high back pocket .
