100% Wool crewneck sweater with jacquard
Made and designed in Italy
Wool crewneck sweater with jacquard on the upper part. Evidently inspired by Norwegian sweaters, which have a world-famous tradition of jacquard designs in knitting. Traditional Norwegian designs are associated with areas and/or islands, each with different designs and geometries, for example Fanacofte, Selburose, Lusekofte. The design was usually placed on the top, with designs of stars, snowflakes, roses, geometries. In the 40s and 50s, they became very popular in the USA, with the Norwegian skier Stein Eriksen. We have reinterpreted this historic garment with a two-tone blue design on a mélange grey base.
