The Chore jacket was born in France in the late 1800s, initially designed for farmers and laborers, it was made of tear-resistant and wear-resistant fabrics, the most recognizable feature is certainly the presence of numerous pockets that allow you to have any type of tool at hand. This aspect favored its use at the beginning of the 1900s also among workers and railroad construction workers. With its arrival in the United States it began to be called Chore coat, literally “hard work” jacket. Our version is made of goat leather with a vegetan dye, this kind of dyeing gives this model a very soft touch. The copper-finish metal details of the nail button enrich the garment.
