The history of this garment is intertwined in England in the 19th century: one story associates it with the Royal Navy, when Captain HMS Blazer had his crew wear it as a uniform in honor of a visit from Queen Victoria; another story traces it back to the world of college and sport, as a jacket used by students in Cambridge. It has certainly retained its charm and is one of the wardrobe items with the most character. In this case we designed it in a wool blend herringbone, coming from Japan: the thread is irregular, puffy and gives the garment a warm and rustic feel, remaining soft.
